This year as well, we decided to refrain from giving Christmas presents and will instead donate a larger sum of money to the non-profit aid organization "Austria helps Austria".

Who is behind Austria helps Austria?

"Austria helps Austria" combines awareness-raising for crisis and disaster-related problems and effective solutions with the request for donations to make the necessary help possible.

The first campaign was launched in August 2020 as a reaction to the Corona crisis and its social consequences. It is implemented by the aid organizations Caritas, Diakonie, Hilfswerk, Red Cross, Volkshilfe and Samariterbund in all Austrian federal states. The donations collected through the campaign benefit those people in Austria who are particularly affected by crisis-related needs.
