    Company founder hands over to his sons

    At the age of 57, Bernhard Steinmayr handed over the business to his sons Philipp and Tobias in equal shares. Philipp took over the operational management on February 1st, 2022. Mr. Bernhard Steinmayr will be remaining in a supportive and advisory role for ESA.

    ESA celebrates its 30th company anniversary

    We look back on an interesting history. With meanwhile 75 employees we are still trendsetters with innovative solutions in the field of process automation.

    ESA Future-Hub - Expansion of the office building

    ESA's headcount reaches more than 65 employees. Continuous, healthy growth requires further expansion of the office building. In line with the motto of constantly developing, ESA has modernized and renewed the corporate design in addition to the expansion of the office building.

    ESAweight 9.0

    ESAweight 9 has been expanded to include numerous features in production processes such as dosing, mixing and filling. The entire flow of goods, including the associated warehouse logistics, has been redesigned and thus meets Industry 4.0 requirements.

    Photovoltaics business division

    ESA expands its business operations to include photovoltaic systems, both for households and for trade & industry. The experience gained from automation is utilised systematically for energy optimisation.

    Incorporation of electrotechnology

    The Electrotechnology business division of S&L - a company of the Steinmar Holding Group - is incorporated into ESA GmbH. This allows complete solutions, including installation, to be offered to process automation customers even more effectively from a single source.

    Completion of company building renovation/extension

    Renovation and extension of the company building is completed.

    ESA wins the special award for exceptional business achievement from the state of Upper Austria in the field of further education and training.

    Healthy growth

    ESA's headcount reaches 25 employees. Its turnover grows by 50%. This expansion makes extension of the company building necessary.

    Version 6.0 of ESAweight guarantees traceability from acceptance through to loading, as per EU regulation 1998. Further business partnerships with large company associations begin in the fields of construction materials and compound feed.

    Neuber Chemie mixing system for the Red Bull dry mix enters into service.

    First fully automatic process control system in the spice and seasoning sector

    ESA commissions the first fully automatic process control system for the seasoning industry.

    Partnerschaft Fa. Daxner & ESAweight 1.0

    The partnership with Daxner commences, with the objective of offering complete solutions. ESA starts development of the modularly structured ESAweight process control system. Version 1.0 is launched. The success story begins.

    Foundation of the company ESA

    ESA is entered in the companies register on 27 May 1991. The foundations for success are laid.
